قصة الكتاب :
La Nencia da Barberino is a poem in octaves, attributed to Lorenzo de \'Medici, probably written between 1469 and 1473.\r\n\r\nIn the poem the farmer Vallera sings the praises of the shepherdess Nencia with whom he is in love and who gives the work its name. The lexicon is based on popular speech and there is a note of irony and comedy.\r\n\r\nThe poem is a parody of cultured opera. The parody is practiced above all on the stereotypes of lyric poetry, on the senseless reproduction of models deposited by tradition that can be used in a world even opposite to the original one. While amusing his educated readers, recipients of the poem, Lorenzo seems to warn against the risks of an uncritical classicism and an application for an end in itself of the principle of imitation.\r\n
